Our Excellent Staff:
Tracy, our office manager, has been with the practice since
1999. She enjoys working with the patients and helping with
insurance issues. Tracy is an eye care office guru! She can
do everything from assist in eye wear selection, schedule
appointments, figure out the most complicated insurance
plan to ordering contact lenses. She really knows it all!
Chances are, if you have been in the office, you know
Tracy. She can multi-task like a mother of eight and always
knows who needs what and does her best to get it for them.
Have a HIPAA question? Just ask Tracy. She is our Privacy
and Public Information Officer. Give her a call to schedule
a comprehensive eye exam. She is great with directions if
you are from out of town.

Alice is one of those people that make you glad to know her
everyday! She is smart, funny, and one of the most caring
people in the world. She is the type of person who will
always do anything to make anyone feel better. She also
has a quick sense of humor that keeps all her coworkers
laughing!
Alice has been in the eye care business for years. She
currently works part time at Colchester Eye Care providing
essential patient related and office work. She is an integral
member of the capable and friendly staff that is ready and
willing to help serve your eye care needs.

by an airline for many years - we won't share how many!
She was looking for something to keep her busy - well we
found some things to keep her busy!!
Jo has become the master at many things since she
joined us. She can cover the front desk, understand and
explain patients benefits, teach someone how to insert,
remove and care for their contact lenses and has become
our insurance expert. She is also a caring and wonderful
optical technician and she also does all of this with a
huge smile!
We feel lucky to have found yet another amazing person
to help our patients at both of our offices. Jo goes out of
her way to make everyone happy. She is a smart, funny,

Accounting Manager
Wendy is Dr. Dempsey's wife. In 1998 she left her career
as an actuary to help her husband with the business of
Colchester Eye Care. She has assumed many roles over
the years: receptionist, optician, office manager, frame
stylist, and technician.
Wendy is currently linked from home and wearing the
bookkeeper's hat. She is the queen of email so feel free
to email her with any questions or concerns. While she
misses all the patients/friends she used to see on a daily
basis she is loving staying home with her two daughters!
