Contact Lenses
Our doctors are experienced at fitting all types
of contact lenses (CLs) whether they are
traditional soft lenses, planned replacement
lenses, disposable or rigid gas permeable lenses.
They are experts at fitting those patients with
special needs such as patients with high
astigmatism (using toric and custom toric CLs)
and those with presbyopia (using monovision,
bifocal, and even multifocal CLs). They are
currently fitting several new custom multifocal
designs that reduce or eliminate the need for
reading glasses.
For those patients who would like to try contact
lenses for the first time, our contact lens
technicians will very patiently show you how to
insert and remove your new contact lenses.
They will also teach you how to properly handle
and care for them. You will be given a trial pair
to take home and try out to make sure you are
comfortable.
We have many contact lenses in stock. Many
other lenses are ordered directly from the
manufacturer or distributor and are available
the next day. You may also request that your
lenses be shipped directly to your home. Most
manufacturers will ship them for free if a year
supply is ordered.
